To find the relationships for a specific file, look for the _rels directory that is a sibling of the file, and then for a file that has the original file name with a.rels appended to it. For example, if the content types file had any relationships, there would be a file called [Content_Types].xml.rels inside the _rels directory. But whenever I alter the document, save, close then re-open the image disappears. All I see is a transparent square. When I open the document as.zip (after altering and saving) the image won't be there anymore.

Several people have told us that after copy-pasting a graph or layout from Prism Mac into Powerpoint, the graph (or layout) disappears from PowerPoint and is replaced by an object border with the text 'the image part with relationship ID rld2 was not found in the file'. Sometimes it says 'rid1' or 'rid3' or 'rid4' or 'rid8' or 'rid25: instead of rid2. Sometimes it says, “This image cannot currently be displayed.” This message appears due to a bug in Microsoft PowerPoint.

I found a Microsoft Office Community Post saying its a know problem and is either caused by Cloud Synchronizing of the file or an AV scan locking it? I don't think its either though.
